nice job but one thing . Is it look like your solar pool filters only filter water off the top of your pool. Right and pools need the bottom water Filter to . so is this wen your pool pump motor come in to play . and i got a 20,000gal pool & spa And your new solar filter would take two days or more to filter my pool if it can’t get to the bottom water or just 10,000 gal of the water will be fair for no edison bill. even 100 Kwh to 300 kwh less will save 20 to 100 in dollars in 32or more days

Most pools only draw from the bottom main drain cover once the water level goes below the skimmer line, which pool skimmers only get the top 4 inch of the water surface. From time to time pool builders do the plumbing required and have a valve to adjust to the main drain cover, but it’s not often… because so many people try to cut cost. Let me also add that the return water flow is also predefined by the pool builder which they add one or two return lines going back in the pool.

@irocx29 Savior filters water 10 inches below the water line & travels around the pool drawing the water & returning the filtered water around the entire pool. The Savior return water flow can go down to 8 feet deep within the swimming pool, which allows all the water to be filtered and moved. The Savior could handle your 20k gallon pool, but it does depend on your pool location environment. Pools with a spa or salt cell would be recommended to run your pool about 3 hours to 30 minutes a day.

I do pool service, and for most pools that are not used on a regular basis one could probably use this system and run their pump for 30 minutes a day. Other variables would include if you had a salt system (needs run time to work) or inline tablet feeder (needs time to work or you would need to open valve more). Seems like a great idea though. The water circulation issue as questioned, would most likely minimally impact water clarity, hence run pump 30 mins a day.
