There is no way of knowing without a more detailed description whether it will become a moth or butterfly. With a few exceptions moths and butterflies are beneficial as pollinators. This is especially important since we are killing off most of our honeybees while spraying for mosquitoes.

why kill it because its a moth,not hurting you is it?there isnt a lot of diffrence between a butterfly and a moth anyway

Some fuzzy caterpillars become moths, and some become butterflies.
