natural swimming pool
This is a natural swimming pool we designed and built in Kettleby, Ontario in 2006. Native aquatic plants are used as an ‘organic cleanser’ to help filter the water in an area surrounding the swimming zone, thus no chemicals are needed (ie.chlorine). A series of waterfalls, a skimmer and a pump help aerate the pool. www.genus-loci.ca

@NicaKrnKid Yes, that is in SOME regular ponds. This is not a regular pond, it’s a natural swimming pond. It is aerated, circulated, and filtered. The only thing in a natural swimming pond is harmless good bacteria. I know you don’t understand nature’s balance, or even understand nature at all because of your programming. I’m not trying to change your mind. Swim in the chlorine.

@NicaKrnKid Depends on the pond. Some ponds are more like puddles. Poorly aerated, full of bad bacteria and algae. Some are well aerated or have live water, good plant life for filtration, and can be much cleaner.

@NicaKrnKid Nature doesn’t care about clean water? What the fuck are you talking about? Your the idiot asking all the questions reserved for three year old children, and you’re telling ME I don’t understand nature? Get the fuck out of here, you fucking moron. Go beat your stupid head against the fucking wall somewhere. Play in traffic. Lick a light socket or something you insolent fool.

@RealOathKeepers why are you insulting me? you have quite a temper mate
explain to me then
then tell me why nature wants to keep algae and things of nature out? doesnt make sense now does it?

@NicaKrnKid It’s kind of hard to insult the stupid, because they don’t understand what you’re saying to them anyway. Who said nature wants to keep algae out of anything? That’s a mighty odd twist on my words, now isn’t it? What doesn’t make sense is your ignorance. You don’t like natural swimming ponds? Fine and dandy. Move on down the road. Go gargle your chlorine…

@RealOathKeepers well doesnt algae make water look dirty to humans? you bet even you think so
even in their websites they say they want to keep algae out which would be apart of keeping it clean
now YOU dont know what your talking about
this isnt nature its a “natural” swimming pond that is built by humans
natural ponds dont have constant flowing water or special plants
nature doesnt care how many insects, weeds or algae the pond has

@NicaKrnKid Wrong again, smart ass. Nature does have ponds with constant flowing water, filtration plants, etc. In those environments, algae and bad bacteria are kept in check by aeration, filtration, and dissolved oxygen. There are two kinds of environments. Aerobic, and anaerobic. Aerobic environments with good filter plants (like cat tails around many ponds) equals clean safe water. Nature has plenty of it. Nature also has very dirty water with the bad stuff in it. Learn some biology kid.

@NicaKrnKid Then what the fuck is your complaint, pee wee? What the hell is your argument with a natural swimming pond? Either google your questions or make a fucking point and be done with it. Damn, what planet are you from?

@NicaKrnKid Well, that’s all fine and dandy that you want to “think” this or that. The problem is, what you “think” and the facts are two different things, and you’ll just have to learn to deal with it. I bet you “think” you are evolved swimming in your chemical soup, but what you “think” and what is true will never jive.

Ive been in the swimming pool business for over 35 yrs-This is an upcoming thing-And it appears that the Romans probably used the same system to “sanitize” their pools 2500 yrs ago- So stick to your guns- It looks good to me and better than the salt sanitizing systems-polluting our streams with salt backwash-lol

for the person who said it did not look clean: it is sad that we are so divorced for nature that a clear – living body of water looks dirty to some of us!
as for me – I want one of these so bad!!

@RealOathKeepers but regular ponds have dangerous bacterias that can greatly harm humans
